Myrtle Leverian Klemp Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Leverian Klemp (Chaska, Minnesota), who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 109. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Arthur Klemp; her parents, William Oswald and Emma Oswald (Deisting); and her siblings, Bernice Williams (Joe), Dorothy Jones (Newell), Mildred Zumwalt (Robert), Clarence Oswald (Donna) and June Tessman (Eldon).

She is survived by: her children, Joy Klemp (Tom Berg), Merilee Klemp (Randall Davidson) and Joel Klemp (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Sara Klemp (Sergio Monterrubio), Benjamin Davidson and Samantha Schwalbach (Dillon); and her great grandchild Marie Myrtle Schwalbach.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (23290 MN-7, Excelsior, MN 55331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials preferred to Our Savior Lutheran Church or the MN Landscape Arboretum.
