Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marcella Steil of Chaska, Minnesota, born in Lake Lillian, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 96, on July 19, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dobmeier and Matilda Dobmeier (Julius); her husband Joseph Steil; her grandchildren, JC Steil (Joseph Carroll) and Therese Steil; her siblings, Josephine Ninow, Frances Dobmeier, Julia Steffel, Loretta Kaley, Lorraine Jacobson, Earl Dobmeier, Ernie Dobmeier, Clifford Dobmeier, Mervin Dobmeier (Pete) and Donald Dobmeier (Bud); and her close friend Elnora Kueker.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Steil (Trina) of Edmond, OK, Michael Steil (Lori) of Omaha, NE, Sharon Mitchell (Jay) of Chaska, MN, Lisa Perri (Gregg) of Plymouth, MN, John Steil (Lori Green) of Estherville, IA, David Steil (Sara) of Keystone, IA and James Steil (Mona) of Maple Grove, MN; her grandchildren, Jeremy Mitchell (Pamela), Bethany Mitchell Faber (Justin) and Jeffrey Mitchell (Kayla); her children, Emily Steil Clark (William), Daniel, Timothy, Mary Steil, Jolena, Kayla, Michelle, Rachel, Laura Perri, Sarah Steil, George (Lindsey), Zoe Steil, Nicholas and Logan Steil; her great grandchildren, Liam Clark, Xavier and Isabella Mitchell; her grandchildren, Jackson, Brynlee Faber, Cooper, Madelyn, Oliver Mitchell, Braelyn Henaman, Kylie Steil, Atlee and Laine Johnson; and her daughter Sandi Guge (Garald) of Estherville, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As a result she was most proud of her lifetime blood donation of 16 gallons.
