She was predeceased by: her daughter Darlene; her grandson Billy; her great grandchild Hunter; her parents, Frank Blackie and Dorothy Blackie; and her stepmother Mary Blackie.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Karren Mahrer (Bart), Kenneth II Essig (Lori), Brian Essig (Renee), Todd Essig (Lisa), Craig Essig (Sharon), Paula Essig and Renee Tollefson; her grandchildren, Sara, Evan, Kali, Kari, Joshua, Jason, Kacie, Jeffery, Cody, Brianna, Trevor, Tyler, Amber, Stevie, Matt, Brittany, Kelsey, Jessica, Savanah, Stephanie and Angela; and her great grandchildren, Elliott, Keegan, Nico, Charlotte, Josie, Joshua, Edison, Brooke, Brielle, Devin, Tiera, Landon, Rylie, Blake, Hudson, Nova, Madison, Tanner, Elliot, Reese, Lily and Simon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
