She was predeceased by: her parents, Halvor Jerde and Amelia Jerde; her husband Charles Schallow of John's Lutheran Church; and her grandsons, Joseph and Jason.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Thissen (Jerry) of Jordan, Jim Schallow (Jan) of Carver and Jean Poppler (Edward) of Carver; her grandchildren, Denelle Kamerud (Jason), Stephanie Lovassen (Eric), Carmen Somerville (Steve), Chad Poppler (Amy), Lindsey Karger (Kasey) and Nicholas Poppler (Nora); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mikaela, Sydney, Arista, Jillian, Kenzington-Jo, Ava, Adriannah-Jean and Joey; and her siblings, Joe Jerde of Delano and Margaret Kruger of Mound. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (300 E 4th St, Chaska, MN 55318). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
