He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Kerber and Pauline Kerber (Diethelm); his wife Elsie Luce; his grandchildren, Jason Weiser and Phyllis Kerber; and his siblings, James (Dorothy), Richard, Leon (Marlene), Guido (Bernie), Rita Kerber, Gladys Scheuren (Ray), Corrine Theis (Norbert "Nubby"), Lucille Weckman (Ralph) and Vern Theis.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Maureen) of Seattle, WA, Ronald (Jake) of Grinnell, IA, Karen Beyer (Gary) of Nashua, IA, Diane Weiser (Scott) of Des Moines, IA, Gloria Gersdorf (Don Lyon) of Des Moines, IA, Roman of Grinnell, IA and Francis (Renee) of Chaska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
