He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meuwissen and Mary Meuwissen (Radermacher); his wife Rose Poppler; and his brothers, Jerome and Benice.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Joyce), Alan (Mary), Judeen Becker (Don), David (Amber), Daniel, Gregory, Jack (Charlotte), Julie Peck (Ron), Kay and Gerry; his grandchildren, Sarah Steinhilber, Rachael Meuwissen, Christine Fisher (Collin), Eugene, Noel, Alex Meuwissen (Melinda), Ginny, Regan Peck, Maren Blatt (Ryan) and Reid Meuwissen; and his siblings, Richard (Nelma), Vincent, James (Darlene), Leon, Ethel Schneider and MaryAnn Kurvers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the family will have a celebration of Geno's life in May 2021.
