It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Hovey of Chaska, Minnesota, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather James Tarnowski; and his uncles, Stephen and Robert Hovey. He is survived by: his parents, William Hovey and Annette Hovey (Tarnowski); his siblings, Nick Hovey of Shakopee and Alyssa Kieffer of Oak Grove; and his grandparents, Margaret and Gerald Hovey of Mounds View. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 8201 Main St, Chanhassen, MN 55317.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in David's name to the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
