She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hanson and Elmira Hanson (Vien); her son Kyle; and her sister Dorothy "Dotti" Long. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Hegna; her son Corey Hegna (Lauren) of Austin, MN; her daughter-in-law Patty Hegna of Chanhassen, MN; her grandchildren, Chandler DeZellar (Zach), Kinsey Hegna (Jacob Raether), Emily Hegna (Wyatt Pepin) and Jacob; her great grandchild Briggs Wayne DeZellar; her brother Brad Hanson (Jolene Burton) of Victoria; and her brother-in-law Don Long of Rogers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bertas Funeral Home (200 W 3rd St, Chaska, MN 55318). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Will Follow the Service (3210 Chaska Blvd, Chaska, MN 55318). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
