He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Aydt and Dorothea Aydt (Dehmer); his wife Mildred Barthel; his sisters, Mary Lou Aydt, Virgilia Neumann (Harry), Delrose Pohlkamp (Andrew) and Iris Lehn (Norman); his parents-in-law, Leo and Lillian Barthel; and his siblings-in-law, Wallace, Jeanette Barthel, Janet, Donald Berning, LaVerne and Gordy Niemann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marty (Robert), Sandy Ittel (Mark), Janice Lenz (Jason) and Jean Hagerty (Edward); and his grandchildren, Ben, Allison, Paige Marty, Molly Ittel, Jack, Jenna, Julia Lenz, Austin and Ava Hagerty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
