He is survived by: his wife Karen Schmitt; his sons, Luke (Cortney) and Ben (Carol); his siblings, Beth Einck (Jerry), Paul Minger (Diane) and Mark Minger; his grandchildren, Teddy, Charlie, Odeya and Sebastian; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Schmitt (Pam) and Joyce Wilges (Keith).
