It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn C. Prom of Chanhassen, Minnesota, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Nelson and Clara Nelson; her spouse Math Prom; her siblings, Richard Nelson and Lois Reich; and her grandson Chris Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hansen of Houston, TX, Mary Zimmerman (Greg) of Billings, MT, Patricia Johnson (Jon) of Carver, MN. and Lynn; her brother Glen; her grandchildren, Kate Curtis Chaska (Steve), Aaron Johnson and Josh Zimmerman (Elizabeth) of Wellington, FL; her great grandchildren, Devin, Nolan, Brendan Curtis and Augustine Zimmerman; and her stepchildren, Marianne Prom, Ray Prom (Tina), Steve Prom (Liz), David Prom (Lynda), Debra Prom and Lisa Carpenter (Randy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home - Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Lutheran Social Services or Dorothy Day House.
