He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wencl and Cathrine Schoenhofen; his brother Robert Wencl; and his grandson Jacob Wencl. He is survived by: his wife Garnita Ann Wencl (Skip) of Cresco; his children, Kim Grant (Norm), Michael (Laili) and Kenneth Wencl; his grandchildren, Mariah Giersdorf (Grant), Callie Johnson (Grant), Derek Grant, Jae Wencl, Josh Wencl, Art Wencl, Angelina Wencl, Ian Wencl and Neva Wencl; and his great grandchildren, Drew Giersdorf, Mia Giersdorf, Claire Johnson, Emma Johnson, Ashlyn Ricigliano, Greyson Ricigliano, Lenny Wencl and Gus Wencl.
