He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Kurvers and Mary Kurvers (Timmers); his wife Myrna Young; his daughter-in-law Marnie Kurvers (McGough); and his siblings, Melvin Kurvers (Jacqueline) and Rosemary Smith (Garland).
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin of Chaska, Craig of Boca Raton, FL, Paul of Center City, John (Karen) of Eden Prairie and Peter of Chanhassen; and his grandchildren, Isa Dehn (Matt), Madeline, Rubie, Erin, Claire, Maia and Sean Kurvers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to St. Hubert Catholic Church or a Catholic charity of your choice.
