He was predeceased by: his parents, John O Klukken and Helga Klukken of Osakis. He is survived by: his son-in-law Jeren; his mother-in-law Irma; his sister Gladys (Askegard) of Meridian, ID; and his children, John (Irma Klukken) of Pomona, CA., Jeanie (Abrar Chowdhury) of Maple Grove, MN and Lisa (Jeren Anderson) of Columbia Heights, MN.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their spouses and children in addition to three step-grandchildren and eleven step great-grandchildren.
Once his health began to give way, he happily lived in Chandler Place, a retirement community in St. Anthony, MN very near to his daughter, Lisa, who was able to provide him with important attention for that crucial time, including during the pandemic, when it became necessary for him to move-in with her.
