He was predeceased by: his parents, James Post and Jennie Post (Schelhaas); and his siblings, Bernice Manderscheid, Nelson Post, Ada DeKoekkoek, Walt Post, Geneva Toering and Evelyn Lubben.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Ben (Connie), Bill (Merri), Brent (Niki) and Polly Vander Wal (Dean); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Sarah Bierstedt (Jacob), Jake (Megan), Kayla, Carter Vander Wal (Courtney), Jordyn, Lindsey Vander Wal, Aubrey, Brynlee and Wade; his great grandchildren, Aiden Bierstedt and Addilynn Post; and his siblings, Edith Walhof, Cathy Kuhl (Lou) and Jim Post (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
