He was predeceased by: his parents, David Steffl and Mary Ann Steffl (Siefert); his wife Deborah Steffl; his siblings, Richard Steffl and Therese Schleppenbach; and his nephew Tony Schleppenbach.
He is survived by: his former wife Mona Lewis; his stepchild Racheal Steffl (Ossefoort); his children, Joseph Steffl (Rita) of South Range, David Steffl (Allison) of Shakopee, Joshua Steffl (Alli) of Chandler and Racheal Ossefoort (Adam) of Little Falls; and his siblings, Steve Steffl (Michele) of Lake Wilson, Neal Steffl (Jane) of Savage, Donna Steffl of Sauk Centre, Kathy Vaske (Greg) of Omaha, Colleen Benson (Steve) of Garretson, Tom Steffl (Sue) of Onamia, Mike Steffl (Lisa) of Maple Grove, Pat Steffl of Sioux Falls and Barbara Tabor (Matt). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in David's name to Josh Steffl at 221 East Main St., Chandler, MN 56122.
