He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Natalie; and his siblings, Joan Church, Margie Dorholt, Mary Lou Leider and Mick.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Melinda Boumeester (Bill), James Pipenhagen and Heather Benson (Mike); and his grandchildren, Alan Wilder, Taylor Boumeester, Alex Ellis, Madie, Bella Pipenhagen, Ryan and Nick Olson.
