It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Thoreson of Champlin, Minnesota, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Thoreson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her parents, William Whiteside and Ruth Whiteside; and her brothers, William and Wayne Whiteside.

She is survived by: her children, James Roberts (Karen), Mike Roberts, Ruth Matteson (Thomas), Sherry Ramin and Julie Hersey; her brother Earl "Bud" Kennitz (Marnie); and her sisters-in-law, Marie and Jo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
