With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert L. Kirkwold of Champlin, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claremont Kirkwold and Cora Kirkwold (Tollefson); his son Mark (Eleanor); his brother Paul Kirkwold (Arlene Kirkwold); his brother-in-law Gordy Halverson; and his nephew Jeff Kirkwold.

He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Mathies (Scott) and Carol Faucher (Dave); his siblings, Maxine Halverson, Janice Pettit (Tom) and Larry Kirkwold; and his sister-in-law Sue Kirkwold. He is also survived by many In-Laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials preferred to Minnewaska Lutheran Cemetery or Minnewaska Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice.
