He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Van Houtan; his father-in-law Wendell Arndt; his brothers-in-law, Daniel Arndt and John Hoag; his nephews, Joey Maass and Zachery Hoag; and his granddaughter Alexis Van Houtan.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Joshua (Tina), Cassandra Larson (James), Stephanie Skaalerud (Scott) and Jacob (Janie); his father David Van Houtan; his siblings, Teresa Holm (Scott), Patrick Van Houtan (Shelly) and Richard Van Houtan (Courtney); his grandchildren, Kailey, Mackenzie, Avery, Caleb, Gabriel, Haidyn, Paislee and Kollyns; his mother-in-law Lucille Arndt; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Hoag, Jane Maass (Howard), Doug Arndt (Dawn) and Greg Arndt. He is also survived by 12 nieces & nephews, and many other family and friends.
