He was predeceased by: his father Bernard "Bernie" Chacka; and his stepfather Glen Carlson. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Chacka; his children, Tracy Chacka and Terence Chacka; his brother Lyle Chacka; his sister-in-law Cheryl Chacka; and his nephews, Brian Chacka (Monica) and David Chacka.
