He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Frank Schutta and Rose Schutta; and his son-in-law Steve. He is survived by: his children, Paul Schutta (Kris), Debra Skiba, Mark Schutta (Tammy) and Mary Jo McIntyre (Mike); his grandchildren, Martin (Amanda), Angela (Randy), Nicole, Emilee (Dillon), Eric, Stephanie, Sarah (Matthew) and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Addison, Gibson, Bennett, Ethan, Declan, Brooks and George; his sister Sylvia Hadtrath (Darwin); and his niece Karen Namie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church.
