He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Cynthia Erni; and his granddaughter Jennifer Van Dake. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Van Dake (Laurel), Bonnie Lee Van Dake and Michelle Van Dake; and his close friends, Jim Rennie and Dani Boxrucker. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, and friend - all his friends were his best friends.
