He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Schultze; his parents-in-law, Charles and Joyce Deling; his siblings-in-law, Gary Drennen and Cindy Davis; and his nieces and nephews, Jocelyn and Logan Garrels.

He is survived by: his mother Lola Schultze (Diersen); his wife Linda Schultze of Paul's Lutheran Church; his son Lucas Schultze (Sherry); his grandchildren, Olivia, Josiah and Eleanora; his child Lacey Williams-Archerd (Fletcher); his grandchildren, Braylah, Annalyn Williams and Kezzian Archerd; his children, Callie Hartmann (Nate), Cammy Hilgendorf (Nick), Samantha Schultze and Emma; his siblings, Laurie Garrels Miller (Mike), Sandra Johnson (Bart) and Stan Schultze (Pam); and his siblings-in-law, Jerri Drennen, Jackie Keeler, Dawn Weseman (John), David Deling (Dawn) and Kory Deling (Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
