He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Gertrude; his siblings, Roberta Jean and Roger; and his children, Kimberly and James.

He is survived by: his children, Greg (Lori), Denise, Joe, Shane (Kandy), John (Dana) and Jennifer (Jimmy). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
