He was predeceased by: his wife Cheri Schmidt-Leiding; his parents, Alvin Leiding and Helen Leiding; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Barb Schmidt; his grandparents, Clayton, Irene Follett, Conrad and Johanna Leiding; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Schmidt and Jerry Derosier.

He is survived by: his children, Josh, Joshua Leiding (Beth), Noah Leiding and Elizabeth Petschke (Jon); his grandchildren, Jaiden Leiding (Dylan Gerken), Johanna Petschke, Cadence Leiding, Gabriella Leiding, Saige Leiding, Bryanna Petschke, Amalia Leiding, Adriana Leiding, Adilene Petschke, Lena Petschke and Kingston Taylor-Leiding; and his siblings, Gerry Leiding (Katrina), Vickie Derosier, Ronnie Leiding (Jane), Laneta Neilson (Terry), Randy Schmidt (Heidi), Becky Mathews (Paul) and Kathy Frolik. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
