He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Schmidtke; his son Douglas Schmidtke (Laurna); his daughter-in-law Cindy Schmidtke; his grandchildren, Nate Schmidtke (Chariya), Laura Teveldal (Ethan), Logan Schmidtke (Bre) and Brooke Schmidtke (David Lano); and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Cameron, Emmah, Marcus and Jackson. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
