She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her children, Mary Jo Jeffers (Robert Barnharst), Michael Jeffers (Maura), Susan Fox (Peter) and Sandra Howard (Virgil); her grandchildren, Jason, Cassandra, Conrad, Ethan, Anna, Amelia and Quinn; and her siblings, Jack Sevick (Merc), Richard Sevick (Phyllis) and Dory Allred (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joan graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1953 and the University of Minnesota in 1957. "She did the best she could." Memorial are preferred in lieu of flowers.
