She is survived by: her parents, Barbara Fineday and John Wind, Sr.; her husband Merrel Hill; her nephew Bruce Armstrong, Jr.; her children, Kenneth Staples, Jr. (Jenn) of Cass Lake, Alfred Desjarlait II of Bemidji and Jaymz-Dawn Desjarlait of Bemidji; her siblings, John Wind, Jr., Charles Wind, Ivan Wind (Vickie), Fabian Wind, Reginald Wind, Gordon Fineday, Robert Fineday, Ruth Wind, Marilyn Wind, Diane Fineday and Dawn Fineday; and her grandchildren, Antonio, Aaliyah, Ken III, Adrick, Arayah, Ariana, Jaxon, Alfred III, Ezra and Arleighauna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
