He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Tibbetts and Irene Tibbetts; his wife Debbie Tibbetts; his son Brian Northbird; his siblings, Elmer "Gene" Tibbetts, Warren Tibbetts, Patricia Tibbetts, Shirley Dunn, Clarice Murphy and Barbara Maas; his father-in-law Larry McMurrin; his close friends, Manny Sargent and Delbert Braman; his children, Troy Tibbetts, Travis Tibbetts (Nicole), Gene Northbird, Jr., Shannon Northbird and Becky Northbird-Jones (David Jones, Sr.); his siblings, Roscoe "Rocky" Tibbetts, Kenneth "Pinky" Tibbetts and Norma Knapczyk (Wayne); his sisters-in-law, Annie McMurrin, Susan McMurrin and Laura McMurrin; his mother-in-law Norma McMurrin; his niece Patsy Kay; and his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Derek, Ayla, Aiden, Evan, Elias, Ryder, Jasmine, David, Jr., Trevor, Dylan, Aleighcia, Daniel, Justine, Amber, Taisha and Ciarra. He was also cherished by 19 great grandchildren.
