He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Westlund (Sather) and Albert Westlund; his siblings, Dorothy Allen, Ethel Theis, Shirley Karels and Robert Westlund; his son-in-law Chad Simmons; and his grandson Ben Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Ginger Westlund, Wes Westlund (Kareina), Penny Simmons, John Westlund (Lisa), Craig Westlund (Jessica) and Jason Westlund (April); his grandchildren, April Steed (Dell), Cicely Miller (Mike), Amanda Arvay (Adam), Bryce Westlund (Makell), Bronson Westlund (Trevor), Natalie Westlund, Jess Simmons, Christopher Westlund, Katelyn Lindsey (Jackson), Valerie Porter (Ben), Elizabeth Westlund, Matthew Westlund, Nathan, Johanna Westlund and Ethan Westlund; and his siblings, Cliff Westlund (Betty) and Nancy Foster. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
