She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Nissinen and Siiri Nissinen (Nevalainen); her son Paul Mrosla; and her siblings, Christine Kuitunen, Kenneth Nissinen, Carol Anderson and Patricia Kuitunen.

She is survived by: her husband Duane Mrosla; her stepchildren, Jeff Mrosla (Shelley) and Jill Loonsfoot (Larry); her brother Robin Nissinen; and her grandchildren, Landon, Kynlee, Ellianna and Bennet. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
