With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd C. Schmitz of Carlton, Minnesota, born in Twin Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on July 3, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Schmitz and Erna Schmitz (Breitkreutz); his siblings, Clarence Schmitz, Betty Eriksen and Roseanetta Schmitz; and his granddaughter April Schmitz.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen E. Granholm; his children, Carrie Buller (Brad), Randy Schmitz, Craig Schmitz (Roxane) and Colleen Spicer (Tim); and his grandchildren, Aaron Buller, Autumn Buller (Anthony Mazzitello), Adrian Buller (Shaylyn), Andrew Buller, Adam Schmitz (Amanda), Cody Spicer and Stephanie Schmitz. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; one expected great- grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
