It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Shannon of Carlton, Minnesota, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kinnunen and Jennie Kinnunen (Sunnarborg); her husband Joseph Shannon; and her siblings, Milton Kinnunen and Elvie Gramlich.
She is survived by: her children, Lorenda "Lori" Wilkinson (Rick), Michele Hagel (Andy) and Mark Shannon; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Wilkinson, Isaiah Wilkinson (Patty), Uriah Wilkinson (Andrea), Elonda Baltes (Alan), Stephanie Wagner (Jake), Amber S, Isaac Shannon and Elias Shannon; and her brothers, Dale Kinnunen (Bonnie) and Phil Kinnunen (Cleo). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
