He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Sowers and Audrey Sowers (Meader). He is survived by: his close friend Marcia Okerlund of Carlos; and his siblings, Harold Sowers (Jackie Ramey) of Parkers Prairie, Albert Sowers of Motley, Leona Nelson (Allan Skoglund) of Parkers Prairie and Russ Sowers (Nancy) of Parkers Prairie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
