He is survived by: his children, Gary (Mary Kay), Karen Volkert (Ken) and Doug (Liz); his grandchildren, Abby Morelan, Kelsey Moorhouse, Rhea Duncomb (Andrew), Austin Moorhouse, Kayla Otte (Bret), Kyle Volkert, Madi Moorhouse and Lexi Moorhouse; his stepchildren, Sandy Wood (Mike), Kevin Illa (Loralie), Keith Illa (Cindy), Debra Ohmann and Mary Gergen (Joe); his former wife Bernadette Ehlers; and his wife Carol Engler. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren.
