We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 83, Sharon L. Vangsness (Cannon Falls, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Ekstrom and Gertrude Ekstrom; her siblings, Diane and Roger (David); and her son Michael.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Vangsness, Michelle Zappa (Lyle) and Jeffrey Vangsness (Teresa Crockett); her grandchildren, Ashley Nelson (Andy), Jaime Zappa (Matt Rodstein), David Zappa (Meghan), Dylan Vangsness, Mitchell Vangsness (Lexi Craven), Sally Vangsness, Tyler and Abby Vangsness; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Everleigh, Reid Nelson, Larkin and Sloane Rodstein.
