He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Miguel, Sara (John) and Yolanda (Mike); and his siblings, Alice, Rachel, Vince, Ray, Kenny and Paul. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Randolph-Hampton Fire Department.
