He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Zimmerman and Gladys Zimmerman (Banks); his wife Ona Lee; and his brother-in-law Roger Helgerson. He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Ann Schwarzkopf (Erik) and Candace Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Karl (Meghan) and Sigrid Schwarzkopf; his siblings-in-law, Patti Kondziolka, Clarice, Chico Krenik, Lyle, Kay Helgerson, Carole Helgerson, Bob and Frieda Helgerson; his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Bruck (Steve Rondo), Brad Garnes (Bonnie), Scott Helgerson (Ann), Erik Helgerson (Susan), Lance Helgerson (Marnie), Gabriel Helgerson (Amy) and Krista Allen (Eric); and his close friend Karen Kronberg.
