He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Heckmann and Merry Heckmann (Engelke). He is survived by: his friend Bob; his wife Dawn Wheeler; his children, Gabby, Preston and Gabrielle; his brothers, Brian (Susan) and Keith (Cassie); and his nephews, Steven and Mason.
Bob was also known for being charitable, with some of his favorite places to donate being; ASPCA, Wounded Warrior, Feed My Starving Children, and many more.
