He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Banks and Irene Banks (Quam). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Melissa (Randy) and Scott (Stacie); his grandchildren, Cody, Erica (Matt), Sierra and Griffin; his great grandchild Miles Banks Iverson; and his siblings, Rodney (Cathy), Robert (Marlene), Sharon Niebur (Al) and Barbara Flynn (Chuck).
