He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Banitt and Adeline Banitt (Groth); and his brothers, Howard, Michael and Theodore.
He is survived by: his spouse Fay Krause; his children, Cannon Falls, Tracy Arett (Todd Franklin), Todd (Julie Cross), Tony (Beth) and Kerk; his grandchildren, Taylor Arett, Isaiah Clennon, Austin Banitt, Cody Banitt, Leah Banitt (Bo Marks), Lexie Banitt, Savannah Banitt and Brodie Banitt; and his sisters, Carol Mitchener and Mary Toledo (Junior). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
