He was predeceased by: his parents, Rutherford Lundell and Blanche Lundell (Lindell); and his siblings, Elaine, Regina, Jean and Wayne.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Krueger of Cannon Falls; his sons, Todd of Clearbrook, Danny of Cannon Falls and Tony of Ellicott City, MD; and his brother Dale. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
