He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lau and Esther Lau; his siblings-in-law, Darrell Albrecht, Kenneth Nelson and Patricia Nelson; his nephew Craig Albrecht; and his niece Nancy Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nelson; his children, Debra Graber (Donald) of Farmington, Linda Craigie (Bill) of Farmington, Dennis (Cindy) of Elk River and Robert (Darcy) of Owatonna; his grandchildren, Krystle Eilen (Jonathan), Angela Althoff (Mitch), Michael Graber (Alexis), Kathy Seramur (Ian), Daniel Lau (Alanna), Sydne Lau (Chris), Ellie Lau and Hailey Craigie; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Jordan, Madelyn, Kelby, Adelia, Eli, Henry, Hazel, Kirrah, Londyn and Oliver; and his sister Sylvia of Florida. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
