With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marland J. Husaby of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marland left this world on February 5, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Husaby and Christine Husaby (Quam); his son Roger; his sister Joanne Molstrom; and his sons-in-law, Bill Langsdorf, Bruce Anderson and John Althoff.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his daughters, Karen Anderson (Royce) of Hastings, Phyllis Althoff of Cannon Falls and LuAnn Hughes (Rick) of Cannon Falls; his siblings, Gerald Husaby (Marilyn) of Cannon Falls and Jeanne Skillestad (Bryan) of Cannon Falls; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Qualle, Arlene Qualle of Cannon Falls and Leann Nelle Qualle of Red Wing; and his grandchildren, Heidi Anderson of Farmington, Mindy Bekker of Cottage Grove, Mitch Althoff (Angie) of Randolph, Mike Althoff (Stephanie) of Cannon Falls, Andy Althoff (Erica) of Cannon Falls, Christie Makarios (Jesse) of Lakeville, Mandy Langsdorf of Pine Island, Cole Langsdorf (Morgan) of Cannon Falls, Jake Hughes (Clare) of Fargo, ND and Kara MacDonald (Andy) of Lester Prairie. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (511 W Belle St, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
