She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Strand and Mae Strand (Ohnstad); her husband Leslie; her son Bruce; her stepfather George Flom; and her close friend Grant Larson.
She is survived by: her son Greg Johnson (Sheri); her daughter-in-law Diane Johnson; her granddaughters, Pam Hunter (Andy), Chrissy John (Doug), Laura Burvee (Eric), Whitney Grimes (Jon), Jenny Deutsch (Kevin) and Angie Johnson; and her brother Sid Strand (Bonnie). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Nelson-Scofield VFW Post 4452.
