He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Holt and Glenis Holt (Beisner); his son Bruce; and his siblings, Helen Holt and Jack Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Vernstrom; his children, Barbara Brandt (Bill) of Chanhassen, Jane Robertson (Stafford) of Ventura, CA and Chuck Holt (Lori) of Cannon Falls; his grandchildren, Beth Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ, Scott Thompson (JoBeth) of Lakeville, Zeke Williams (JoLyn), Zach Williams and Paige Holt (Reid Behrens) of Cannon Falls; his great grandchildren, Ella, Kate, Sam, Luke Thompson, Adlyn, Renner and Harper Williams; his brother Duane Holt (Judy) of Cannon Falls; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Holt of Cannon Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
