It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurel Nelson (Cannon Falls, Minnesota), born in Granada, Minnesota, who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Jurgenson and Elsie Jurgenson (Hopp); her husband Stan; and her siblings, Donald, Robert Jurgenson and Sharon Maloney.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles (Geri) of Northfield, Douglas (Sherry) of Richfield, Curtis (Pat) of Cannon Falls and Gordon of Bloomington; and her sisters, Lorraine Michaelke of Truman and Marilyn Meyer (Ron) of West Salem, WI. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
