He was predeceased by: his parents, Evald Erickson and Effie Erickson (Anderson); his spouse Vernice A. Sauer; and his siblings-in-law, Marlys Erickson, Marlene Erickson and Vern Simanski.
He is survived by: his uncle Paul; his daughters, Cindy Kimmes (Dave), Terry Soule (Jon) and Lisa VanBoxel; his grandchildren, Erica Majeski (Joe), Heidi Kimmes (Marcus Young), Courtney Collins (Grant), Aaron Soule (Katy), Megan Soule, Johnna VanBoxel (Jon Wersal) and Joey VanBoxel; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Tyson, Taylor Soule, Lexie Rouse, Eastin Kubat, Blake Kimmes and Hazel Majeski; and his siblings, Jerry Erickson, Lois Simanski and Darlene Sundheim (Donnie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
