It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys D. Hernke of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Gwen Knowlton (Rick) of Cannon Falls, Sheryl Soule (Jim) of Lakeville, Brenda Quilling (John) of Cannon Falls, Sue Pallin (Jerry Mattson) of Roseville, Dale Hernke of Kenyon, David Hernke (Lisa Oelkers) of Cannons Falls and Marc Hernke (Julie) of Cannon Falls; her grandchildren, Stacey Deutsch (Aaron), Jason Knowlton, Jeffrey Soule (Shannon), Jodi Stuart (Eric), Nathan Hernke (Melanie), Nicole Hines (Brian), Heather Hernke, Ashlee Koebler (Jake), Amanda Ziel (Jeff), Stephanie Hernke (Logan Walsh), Matthew Hernke (Emily) and Brandon Hernke (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan Deutsch, Casey Jeppeson, Caden Knowlton, Zachary, Ella, Benjamin Soule, Lillian, Gavin, Mackenzie Stuart, Blake, Luke, Ava, Kyle Hernke, Harper, Lauren, Iyla Hines, Lyla Koebler, Owen, Mack, Charlie Hernke, Heath Hernke, William, Vincent and Persephone Walsh; and her sister Jean Ann Lindamen (Byron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Urland Lutheran Church (6940 County 9 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
